Another important aspect of OYWO is our support of a Charity providing accessible clean drinking water to poor communities in Africa. There is no better time to get people thinking about the tragedy that nearly 800 million people in the world do not have access to clean drinking water, than when they are drinking just water! When people sign up for the challenge, they are often thinking of all the other drinks they are about to go without. Perhaps they are going to miss coffee or coca-cola. Contrast this with the world's poorest, for whom drinking clean water would be a dream come true. We are excited to be donating 10% of all the money raised through the OYWO challenge to providing clean water to such people!
