our journey cont: .........The British Charity partnered with YWAM in Uganda, and after our commitment ended in 2000 we felt that YWAM would be a good fit for us moving forward. We felt we should focus our efforts on Europe. We did a DTS in Germany (outreach in Brazil and Argentina) then joined YWAM Wiler (Switzerland) working with Kings Kids reaching out to young people. From 2003-2008 we set up and managed an *Action Sports Centre in Thun (Switzerland) working with local youth. During this time our family grew from 2 > 5 with the birth of Ryan, Ethan and Isaac.

*Action Sports - skateboarding, snowboarding, free-skiing, parkour, mountain biking etc.
In 2009 we moved to Italy. We committed for 10 years. We continued working with youth directly through a Parkour Park we built and run in our town Francavilla and Mare, running youth action sports festivals, and leading various mission trips (with skaters and parkour athletes) around Europe and indirectly through training leaders in Action Sports Ministry.

In 2019, after ten years in Italy, we thought and prayed about our future. We felt we should remain in Italy for the foreseeable future. We also felt we should buy some land and design and build an off-grid home (my passion for green architecture has stayed with me since uni-days. ). We believe that this will strengthen our foundations for both local and international service.

Looking to the future we hope to continue sharing God's love with European Youth and our local community in Italy.
We hope to invest in the development and growth of a number of initiatives that we have helped to pioneer.
*Inpire Parkour - A mission minded international parkour community
*Freedom Tour - A partnership between Inspire and the Justice in Motion theatre company to raise awareness of modern day slavery and broader societal freedom related issues.
*MaxMoves - A company to serve youth workers through designing and building action sports facilities
*OYWO - A water charity promoting healthy lifestyles while funding action sports and well-drilling in poor nations
*Action Sports Ministry School / Parkour DTS - two schools we helped to develop within YWAM
*C.H.I.M.P. (Community Home Inspire Movement Park) - A community focussed parkour park in our town.
Bay of Play (future vision)- This is a long term vision of ours to create a youth, action sports camp, on a Croatian Island!!!!
We can also imagine becoming more involved in developing sustainable community spaces both from a spiritual and architectural standpoint.
